Post your projects / Timer circuit for led
« Last post by TomDTC on April 03, 2019, 05:37:33 PM »
How to make a simple circuit. This needs to fit inside of a cylinder about the size of an ink pen. Powered by a dc battery, (inside the cylinder) when voltage is applied, via a push button switch or a thurmail sensor, that starts timer/delay preset for 60 seconds then lights the led.

Basic Electronics / PEMF and RIFE dual circuit schema questions
« Last post by drhiii on March 26, 2019, 09:53:40 PM »
I have a very amateur level of competence when it comes to electronics, circuits, etc.  Am looking at a Youtube project that combines a PEMF device (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy) and a RIFE device (Royal Rife, Tesla, etc).. dual circuitry.  There are two or three elements in the hand drawn schematic that I do not understand and was hoping someone could put eyes on it and identify those pieces.  I have sourced almost all of the parts, but a parts list would really have helped.  I’ve tried to ask the originator of this schema but have yet to receive any replies.  The engineer who drew this up posted barebones schema and vid, and I can almost get through it.  Almost.  So looking to this learned group for any help to interpret this schema and video.
Am attaching an image with 2 balloons w/text and pointers asking “what is this?”, etc.  Plus an additional question is… on the front panel there appear to be two, or three different kinds of lights.  Are they all the same(for pulse, pulse, out, out and power), as in LEDs?, Or might they different kind of lights for the three different types/labels.   Cannot discern from the schema and vid.
Am also attaching some images that snapshot the project, taken from the video.
Any advice would be most helpful.  At the least
Fwiw, the end game of this is the PEMF aspect assist my wife who lives in chronic pain (6 total joint replacements for instance).  Additionally, she is a liver transplant recipient.. so lots going on here.   The magnetic pulse fields do provide a measure of relief.  Hence why am pursuing this.

Electronic Parts / Re: want to connect my Arduino UNO
« Last post by AJ_36 on December 06, 2018, 08:55:13 AM »
Hello !

I want to connect my Arduino UNO to a One Relay Switch Board.
I also want to connect relay to a Fan, TubeLight etc

Relay connections :  POLE, NO, NC,

Please can any one explain me the connections Please.

Hi,

It is very easy to connect a relay to Arduino or any micro-controller for that matter. Since you have mentioned "Relay board" I am assume it has the relay driver circuit build on it.

If you can find a transistor, resistor and diode on top of your board then it probably has the driver circuit. If not make sure you add one else your Arduino will not be able to provide enough current for your Relay to trigger.

There are many types of relays the one you have is possibly a 5V 5-pin relay. You should connect the load, in your case light fan etc to the  POLE, NO, NC (any two) pins. Also note that pole pin is commonly refereed to as common pin also. You can find more details of the relay in the below link.
 https://components101.com/5v-relay-pinout-working-datasheet

You AC loads will have two terminals Phase(live or hot) and neutral. Connect the Phase wire to the Phase of your AC mains. You will add the switch (relay) only to the neutral side. Connect the neutral wire to the pole pin of your relay and then connect the NO pin of the relay to the Phase.

This way your load will be turned off till the relay gets triggered. When the relay is triggered form the Arduino, the neutral will be connected to the AC main completing the circuit and thus turning on the load.

I know its a very late reply, but hope it would help people to come in future.

Motor Control / Re: BLDC sine wave using a L298n
« Last post by orion_pt on January 05, 2018, 12:02:24 PM »
I'm doing exactly the same and having the same problem as you. I also increased number of steps and it improved. The 10 bit resolution makes it worse but reducing the pwm speed makes it better but you get the frequency noise. I think the 298 is having problems with pwm signal creating noise in the output. Could it be necessary to have DAC between arduino and the 298 or a different driver would be a better choice?

Motor Control / BLDC sine wave using a L298n
« Last post by navanod on January 03, 2018, 04:05:26 PM »
Hi all and greetings.

I have been working on a BLDC project for a while trying to use the sine wave tables to generate like it was shown in the stroboscope project.  I do get movement but it is certainly not as smooth as I would like,  I have tried more steps and this helped a little but still not great.

I am wondering id this is really not the fault of the l298n?

Ive got one dev kit from TI here for a fancy fan controller and at 7 hz the same motor is silky smooth.

love to hear your thoughts on the old L298n for slow speed bldc control.

cheers

General Discussion / Brushless Motor Theory
« Last post by Phebex on May 24, 2016, 05:20:58 AM »
i think it's fine om posting here.

i found interesting site
Check this site this site talk about Electrik Motor.
Even You can calculated here Winding Calculator.

From that site i found my brushless(14 magnet pole and 12 cogs) has Direction AabBCcaABbcC and AbCaBc

12P9C Brushless | Direction : A-B-C-A-B-C
LEVEL
A111000
B100011
C001110

14P12C Brushless | Direction : AabBCcaABbcC or A-b-C-a-B-c-
LEVEL
A000000000000
a000000000000
B000000000000
b000000000000
C000000000000
c000000000000

from here i'm confuse how to make diagram like you do. if I had to make a table size 12x6 (due in accordance with the number of his COG) or a 7x6. I do not know how to determine the level. I also attach a file containing the tables.

one more ask, in that site you can found winding animation.

fig. 01

when you click it there is any step for windings

fig. 02
Please tell me, that is step if i'll make a winding isn't?! not steps like you do in Driving a three-phase brushless DC motor with Arduino – Part 1. Theory
