CNC Files

Here is a collection of various Computer Numeric Control (CNC) files. Basically, most files are various shapes and models I’ve designed and the GCode programs to produce (laser cut) them.

Acknowledgements

Unless otherwise noted, all files have been prepared on a Linux PC running a Ubuntu operating system. The following software was used for creation of the files:

  • SVG, DFX files were drawn/converted to in Inkscape – An Open Source vector graphics editor.
  • G-Code files were created using DXF2GCODE a free Python program that converts a 2D dxf drawing to CNC machine-compatible G-Code.
  • EMC2 was used to control the CNC router that cut these models.
